the resume pause key works only if the macro is paused...

since i did not get to pause i have asked the users to abort the macro by using pause/break key. very sad that i could not figure out any other way... if anyone has any idea please let me know

My macro version 3.2.0.2. There is an option to resume the pause which scrolllock+pause/nbreak but to pause none. I even tried the help but . The normal pause and complex pause exists but i want the user to be able to pause by hot key or any other way

I checked the option but i could not find playback as i am using ver 3.2. This goes through bunch of actions with multiple macros which gets executed based on window names that it finds. Now i want to pause the macro by the user if he requires to do it for any other reason

Hi All, I have given the command to activated a window lotusnotes. the problem i am facing is the before the lotus notes there can be anything like sunil, taylor, obamam anything.. But irrespective of the name that exists if lotus notes is there and the window open i want the macro to open that window. Is it possible?

lose focus and gain focus functions fine. you are right abt it. the problem i have is the window that i am looking actually goes off after saving the file. hence i used wait till invisible which is not working... any ideas....

Just wanted to know if wait for text playback will work even when macro is typing the text and also until the tabs are complete

Thank you for your reply. I do not want to lock the keyboard or mouse as the user will need to select an option on the menu shown by the macro but would like to freeze anything else on the desktop temporarily until the user selects this option.

Hi All, what i require is until the user chooses an option given by the macro express the user should not be able to perform any other action on the computer. The reason is until we want to avoid him not taking action on the menu given by the macro. Is there a possibility? Also is it possible in Macro express 3.2 to pass a variable from one macro to another. Both macros are part of the same macro.

hi , all problems reslved. able to copy everything. thanks. the sol works miracles but is it possible to count if how many times is a particular text repeats itself in the variable? i was able to do it by deleting the text i found and then counting again the same putting it in a repeat loop. it works fine. but is there a better alternative solution rather than this.

hi All, Can anyone please confirm if Macro Express3.2 work on OS2. This is urgent. Pls confirm for sure. Cant help as one of the business partners is using still the old system and we have to check if it works or not.

Deploying it today and people here are quite excited as it has resolved lot of problems. One issue remains though. If you look at the text file i sent you i am unable to pull the customer name as there is no common identifier. I will have to copy the entire things till Org and then need to subtract the integer values. Can you look and let me know if anything else can be done abt it

i have figured it out and it works extremly fine and i have put it out for testing on live systems. Need to wait for the results though. For me ti worked fine. I am putting out the code for anyone it might be useful to pull data from webpages where the action of tab and arrow is nullified. Last but not the least a ton of thanks to brandon who gave me this idea. TEST.MEX

Yeah i was talking abt the variable N2. You are right. sorry for the mistake. I have tried but the use of repeat is becoz i want all the loops to work one afte the other. If i remove the repeat it does not work. It stops after perfomring the first iteration. It doesnt go to the second file. Any help? Also with the existing code when i put a text box display right after the n2=1 loop completed at the place where the increment takes place it shows n2=2 twice and then again shows n2=3. this is the main issue. When i removed the last increment at n2=6 after else there then it worked fine for me but had small issue at n2=6. Can you pls help me out with this.
