  1. Thanks for your reply Jason. I found a way round it that works fine... By clicking on the nearest point above the button and then tabbing down the fields and saving the 'shortcut' from each field to a variable. The button had no shortcut so I set it to press 'Enter' when finding the first empty variable
  2. Ctrl + F highlights the word on the button but 'Enter' has no effect, I have tried tabbing back and forward after using Ctrl + F but the tab function tabs to another area on the web page and not to the next in tab order. If I tab to the button manually the 'Enter' works but I can't use the tab feature as the tab order continually changes as more or less fields are inserted or removed above the button. So is there any way of finding a word on a web page and left clicking on it?
  3. Thanks for your reply cyberchief but still can't get my head round what you’re saying! The little running man vanishes from the Task Bar and is not replaced by the Macro File icon. So are you saying that there is a short delay before the macro finally crashes and that it is possible to catch the macro and tell it to re-start ? I should point out that the macro crashes after 2 hrs 45 mins every time and the running man then vanishes from the task bar and is not replaced by the macro file icon, if I restart the macro it will then run again for another 2 hours 45 mins....very odd but there you go.
  4. Anything I can do that will automatically restart a macro that closes down?
  5. I want the computer to come out of hibernation at a certain time and activate a macro. Is it possible to do this with ME3 or will I require a seperate program?
  6. Very good this Macro Express, saved me a lot of finger work... Anyway, on a website that I want to copy some data from there are three gif pictures at the top of the web page with each picture having a row of figures beneath... I want to copy one of the rows of data that is below a particular picture (the pictures occasionally move in order). All pictures have different words on them and the background colour on all pictures is the same, so catching the pixel colour would not help. I can't seem to strip the words from the picture but each picture has a different URL so is there anyway that I can capture the URL and save it to a variable by simply clicking on the mouse over the picture?
  7. If I copy decimal data that has a line underneath from a website to D1 it doesn't copy the data, I assume it’s the underline that's causing a problem.Any ideas on how I can copy the data to D1 without the underline? Don’t know if this will help but the decimal data could be copied to any of the variables; it doesn't have to be D1. Thanks lemming. Got it working after a bit of messing about macronovice.
  8. On some websites the field data does not highlight after tabbing to it. Although the field border/outline does, so is there any way of highlighting the data without sliding the mouse across such data?
  9. Got it... I should have used 'Set Decimal Value' to D1. Bye
  10. Thanks Randall... I never thought of that I am trying to copy field data into Clipboard then into %N1%. The clipboard data is ... 104.69 By using 'Variable Set Integer' %N1% from Clipboard and inserting this data back from %N1% into another field... Just tried it and its only inserting the first number .... Looks like my copy from Clipboard to %N1% is wrong, it only seems to be storing the first number. Any help please?
  11. Have copied data from field into variable N1... how do I paste this data from N1 back into another field ?
  12. How can I do this.. I want the macro chain to stop if the pixel colours of the cell/field equals a cetain colour ?
