randallf
Hello, I was wondering, if I purchase a macro express pro license for myself, does this permit installing it on my (just mine) work PC and using it in the course of business/production as long as I am the only one using it? My company has a ME3 license but not pro. I want to use pro at work for myself instead of ME3. Thanks!
Cory
As I understand it you can install your license on any one PC regardless of whether it's your PC or not. However if you also wanted to install it at home or any other PC you would need to purchase an additional license for that. But you should read your EULA for yourself which can be found in the Help file.

Questions about licensing are best sent to Insight Software Solutions directly rather than asked in this user-to-user forum.

What if I install it to a portable memory stick?
Cory
I do not know about the legality in that case but I believe the point moot because I do not believe it possible. ME has certain core level DLLs that must be installed into the OS so I doubt you one could use a U3 thumb drive or similar technology. But if you manage to get it to work without a footprint that would be very interesting. But honestly if you value your time at all it's probably cheaper to buy another license. Or get your company to.
