TsunamiZ
Curious, can a function like this be built into Macro Express (to make it easier to work with and change)? How about add an option to set random variables to not repeat the last X generated numbers in a row? Useful for making some random things seem more random. Or when we need to create non consecutive numbers.

The moment you try to alter what the next random number is, it is obviously no longer a random number. Oh for some clear thought!

lemming
On a side note, the environment variable %RANDOM% expands to a random decimal number between 0 and 32767. It's been supported since DOS days! In MEP, you can read this value via Variable Set String -> Set from Environment Variable
TsunamiZ
btw: having an option for the random number generator to not repeat the previous X numbers in a row is also good for simulating behaviours such as a lottery draw.
