terrypin Posted December 3, 2014 Report Share Posted December 3, 2014 I very rarely ever use Capture but today did so for a quick and dirty one-off macro in Firefox. But as soon as I move my mouse cursor after starting the capture on this page (a site I've used frequently) http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/july/3/default.stm it crashes Firefox. Consistently. Firefox just closes, and on restarting it's clear it didn't do so gracefully. The couple of other sites I tried it on, unrelated to that BBC News site, were OK. But without extensive tests it's possible this could be a more general conflict issue. I also opened the problem site in IE. A Recapture there gave no problem, faithfully recording my mouse and keystrokes. Bizarre sort of problem.
