Kevin, I did I checked the whole macro again with indeed a few extra delay commands, it works like a charm now

Hi there, I want to disable and enable (not activate!) my screensaver. Disabling is very simple cause ME has the option in system-->screensaver-->Screensaver disable But I want also to enable it again, I tried with system-->control panel open-->Run control panel applet-->Name: display properties-->tab: screensaver Followed by a bunch of move mouse commands all relative to window (located with the mouse locator) and left mouse clicks. But when I run the macro it only opens the display properties window and nothing else happens... I tried to capture the macro but also no luck. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Randall, it works! Bloody hell! Thank you very very much!
-
Randall, you lose me on the //Set one day back in dialog box*** part. I don't find it? Grtz, Magic

I thought this would be a tough one but I've got enough info to start something! Thanks for all the info/tips!

Hi there, I've a question about a macro: Is it possible to delete backup files? (I'll explain it ) With MozBackup I create a backup of my Firefox and Thunderbird profiles everyday. They get the name: Firefox 1.0 (en-US) - 2.23.2005.pcv and Thunderbird 1.0 (en) - 2.23.2005.pcv As you can see in the filename the date (so tomorrow it will be 2.24.2005.pcv) is present, is it possible to let ME delete those files after I made new backups? I already have a macro which makes the backups. Grtz Magic

Thanks for the info Kevin. It works fine, for me, without sending the keystroke

Hello Joe! never noticed that setting.... But it works! Screensaver goes on and the macro does run. (screensaver goes back on after the macro is finished) Thanx for the tip!

I have a scheduled macro (should run and runs everyday at 06.00 PM) I noticed that the screensaver doesn't start when the macro is activated. The screensaver will appear when I disable the macro. Is this a bug or does ME does this on purpose?
-
Kevin, indeed! The bug is fixed! Thank you very much!
-
I emailed to info@wintools.com..... But it's good to hear that the bug will be fixed
-
I'm also still waiting..... a few months now!

I'm at work right now, so no access to the help file hmmm sounds good! Maybe one problem less with firefox then! As soon as I get home, I'll look into it and let you know the outcome. edit: Linda, I think your idea worked! Without the Reset command I didn't get what I want after running a macro twice (every second time I got something different although the mouse was clicking the exact same coordinants!), with the reset command I do get what I want again and again and again! Well, one problem solved ---> one to go! edit: well, my last problem with firefox seems to be solved! A few "wait time to elapse" commands did the trick!
-
don't know the program that well...yet, so I'll look into the "reset hooks" command. What does it do?
-
AFAIK netscape and Mozilla (Firefox and Suite) are using the same engine. But indeed some mouseclicks and movements aren't handled very well. I'll make a request for better support/compatibility with Firefox, IMHO Firefox is way better than IE. the Wait for Web Page command can be replaced with a wait a few seconds (mostly 2 or 3) command

I also did report it But thanks for helping!

really? hmmm........ I'm using Win XP Pro with SP2. I have a macro which opens a newsprograms (Newsleecher) and update my subscribed groups. I choose "daily" in the schedule options. "play macro indefinitely" is marked and the date at "start on" is set to 8/14/2004 I've entered a time and marked the "selected days" I switched back to HH:mm:ss and I can't get any hours >12....... Using hh:mm:ss wouldn't be a problem but it is kind of strange...... p.s. I installed the trial version at work today (XP pro with SP1) and also the same problem with HH:mm:ss...... Are you also using the latest version? (3.5b build1 3.5.2.1)

I wrote a few macros which don't (or almost don't) work correctly in Mozillas Firefox. Is anybody else experience such problems with Firefox? Same macros made for IE work fine...
-
well I can't choose a number higher than 12...... I will try to set the systemclock to hh (forcing to use AM/PM) maybe that does the trick. edit: well, it does work when I set the systemclock to hh:mm:ss! I now have the AM and PM! I'll report this to insight, maybe they can fix this in a next release

Mouse Wheel Scoll Doesn't Work In Firefox And Ie?
Magic replied to Magic's topic in Macro Express 3.x
Linda I emailed insight with this problem and I got an email from Stan. He said that a webpage has to be fully loaded before a scroll can work, so he advised to use a delay or wait command before the scroll command I did and it worked! Thank you for looking into this problem! really appreciated it! -
Floyd, I already checked that and my time settings are: HH:mm:ss (HH being the 24 hour option). I'm at work now and downloaded the trial and I have the same thing, but the timesettings are the same HH:mm:ss I'm the only one that has that problem with the latest version?

hmmm strange.... I found the scheduler already but I can't choose between AM or PM! I just see a time after the 12 the 01 starts again. I seem to have weird problems with ME!
