  1. We apologize about the board downtime. If you experiance any problems with the board please let us know. Thanks, Matt
  2. Controls can only click on buttons, and special items. The best way to do hyperlinks in my opinion is by using home button to go to the top or end button to go to the bottom of the page, and then locate the place in which it should click on. For example Press end on your keyboard, as you will notice it goes to the very bottom, and then the coordinate of the link should be there. If it is there simply have the mouse move to a certain location. This only works however if the hyperlink stays in the same location. If the hyperlink moves your best bet is to use the keyboard and activate the find menu using ctrl+f finding the text the hyperlink would contain, and then pressing esc, selecting the hyperlink, and pressing enter to use the hyperlink.
  3. How I have done it in the past is by using dummy letters in numbers in the password. IE when it writes to the registry it strips the first characters, and 2 of the last characters. After that contains the password. By doing this method it would be very hard if not impossible to decipher what the real password is. IE: akje8392 stips ak and 92. the remainder is the serial number.
  4. I Apologize about having to login so many times. We transferred the sites to new servers, and are currently finishing up testing on the new servers. Everything should be up and running fully by the end of the day. If you still have problems with anything please e-mail me. matt@formaquest.com Thanks, Matt
  5. I am glad everyone likes the new board.. I just wanted to find out what people thought about it, and I really appreciate the questions / concerns. It is ultimately Joe's choice on this. Well I apologize it took so long to respond. I was working on some other projects, and well forgot about this post until yesterday. Everyone have a great day! Thanks, Matt
  6. Hey Everyone, I just thought I would find out if everyone likes the new bullitin board system? If there is anything that we can do to make it better please let us know.. Not sure it will happen but if it is a really good idea we will try to impliment it! Matt
  7. Hey Richard, When I am writing Macros. I always first plan out everything I want to accomplish. I then do testing of pieces of code to see if Macro Express can actually do what I need it to do before implimenting all this work into the scripts. Next while I am writing the macros I break it into several scripts. Instead of writing 1 huge script that would be 250 lines, I will do 5 seperate scripts that contain 50 lines. Finally, if you put remarks throughout your coding it will help keep yourself organized, and then you can remember what you were doing. I hardly ever use shortcut keys. I will generaly have one per macro file that just shows a menu. Anyway, this is a few things I picked up from programming not only in Macro Express, but Javascript, and PHP.
  8. WHOOPEEE.... It remembered me as well...
  9. hmm... I tried to modify yet some more settings on the Forum Board. I am just hoping that this will fix it, but I won't know until tomorrow. It will take some fine tuning, but I appreciate everyone patience while we get this worked out. Thanks, Matt
  10. Hey Jim, There were a few settings that needed to be changed to the board. I HOPE I got them all. Yes you were right about how it logs you out. This was being caused by the session timeout not being long enough. I think now it will keep you logged in for roughly one year before having you sign in again. I also modified the cookies so hopefully that helped out. By the way you must have cookies enabled on Internet Explorer, and Netscape Navigator for it to remeber you. (2) Jim, I don't believe Invision Board will store how many times you have read the posts. What pushes you to be a higher member is how many posts you make on the Bulliten Board. ALL USERS Please make sure if you are at the library or public that you remember to click the logout button when you are finished. Matt
  11. Hey J Cook, Have you tried using the Window Title default activation. IE When Macro Express sees the window Notepad then activate the macro. I am not sure if this is what you are trying to accomplish, just hoping I understood the question.
