I tried to unchecked Options->Preferences->Network->File Locking of Macro Files. It appears to work, I hit OK, I then go back into the Options->Preferences->Network and the File Locking of Macro Files check box is still checked.

After I'm done recording a new macro, I try to edit it. However I get the error "Cannot edit the macro because the file locked by another user". The only way I can unlock the file is by Terminating Macro Express, and starting it again. How do I unlock the macro file with out restarting the program. thanks, John.
