  1. Found the issue. I had recently upgraded PowerToys to v0.71 which introduced a Peek feature that utilized a hotkey ctrl+space in file explorer thus the conflict. A simple deactivation of Peek in PowerToys resolved it.
  2. Thank your for your responses! I think it may be another problem. I cannot activate ctrl+space in the default file explorer window. Its scope was originally for any file explorer program. For the sake of testing, I changed it to global scope and it's not activating with ctrl+space. However, when I change the hotkey to something else (ctrl+`), the macro runs. Any ideas? Note: ctrl+space will work in any SAVE AS / Open file explorer window but not the standard folder file explorer. It's very strange.
  3. Hi all, I've been using Ctrl+Space as an activation Hotkey for a while and all of a sudden, it stopped working (does not run; does not activate the macro). I was on MEP 6.6 and updated to 6.6.0.1 to see if it would resolve it, but still not functioning as it was. Is anyone experiencing this and if so, did you have a workaround? If not, I'll submit a ticket to the developer. Thanks in advance.
  4. Hey all, wanted to provide an update from the Devs: "We have made a change to the Variable Set String from Prompt command in Macro Express Pro. This change allows you to select "Single line" or "Multiple lines". When "Single line" is selected pressing the Enter key will accept the input and close the dialog. This change will be available in the next released version of Macro Express Pro. " 👍 For devs!!!
  5. @Cory "No more delays for timing, no more flow control. No more issues with tab sequences getting out of whack." Back to the books - thanks for the encouragement.
  6. This worked flawlessly! I also added another macro where ESC button on Enter String Value to stop macro (that was changed as well with the new update).
  7. Thank you for all the suggestions: @acantor @stevecasper @rberq. I agree, I'll also reach out to ISS.
  8. Hi all, I've been using Prompt for Value to setup variables for years now and it was only a single line item. Ie: I type a value and press enter, it'll be the same as clicking 'Ok' button. After updating to MEP V.6.4.0.1, it appears the Prompt for Value accepts multi-line items. Ie: I type a value and press enter, it'll go to the next line rather than enter / 'OK' Button. Now I have to tab and then enter after typing in the value. This is a welcome change but at the same time, is there a way to revert via a setting/configuration? Thank you in advance.
