  1. Perfect, I didn't know about the Macro:Enable command. That solved the problem just like I needed it too. Thanks. I am glad this was an easy solution. Learn something new everyday! Thanks Stan
  2. Is there anyway to get ME to automatically run a floating menu upon startup? We are using a new program and a floating menu is ideal for what we want to accomplish. Since a lot of the people who use these macros are computer illiterate or stubborn to change, going into ME and activating the menu is too much to ask. I wish I was kidding. It would be great if it would automatically run itself when an individual logged into their computer. Any help would be great!!!
  3. We are implementing a new database system to monitor and do our work. What I was asked to do was write some macros that would make this database more useful and easier to manage. What I want to do is use a button on the Access queue. What happens is different accounts are circulated through to manage the work. I want to to put several buttons on these pages that have a macro attached to them so that when clicked on they would run. My hope would be that I can assign some sort of executable macro to these buttons in Access? I unfortunately don't know how to do this. Any help or suggestions would be excellent. Thanks.
  4. What I am trying to do is write a macro that will copy as information is typed. Ideally I would want a macro to start copying what is being typed and when say 9 digits have been reached or simpler 10 seconds has elapsed stop copying what is being typed into the clipboard. I would want the macro copy any input that has been entered either when 10 seconds has elapsed or 9 digits has been reached to the clipboard. I would just do this by selecting the text and using the copy function, but the program being used does not use the clipboard and doesn't immediately allow the clipboard to be used in the program. It seems like this is something that Macro Express should be able to do, but I seem to be running into a wall.... any help would be great!
  5. Thank you! I figured it out. Thanks a lot, that fixed the problem. Thanks Cory!
  6. What I am trying to do is take information from one source, like an internet database, copy it and then paste it into to a JAVA based program to run a query. This query would use that information to pull up the desired information. For example an account number copied from the internet database, then pasted in the program to run the query on that account number. I have been able to get this to work with other programs to look up different information, but this program does not allow copy and paste functions to be used if the information was not found within the program. It is a JAVA based program, so that may have something to do with it. Any help on this one would be really great. Is there a way to take that information and import it in in some way? A way around the copy and paste function not working with the clipboard in that one program?
