  1. BUG? It seems I can't run a global macro simulataneously with an app specific macro. Only the app specific macro plays. But app specific macros can run simulataneously. I don't use "lock player". Anyone else with this problem? BTW: Not sure if this matters, but I tested with macros triggered with middle click set to the top left pixel area. ALSO: I'm on Win7 x64 and MEP 4.2.1.1
  2. Just curious... Is it possible to run multiple instances of the same macro simultaneously? Or does running macros simultaneously require them to be separate macros? I'm curious if the exact same macro can be executed again over itself while already running.
  3. How about add the ability to activate macros using speech recognition? Windows 7 has a built in speech recognition engine [control panel > speech recognition]. Perhaps Macro Express can work with that to make it possible to activate macros with speech? For example, let us write what Macro Express will listen for. When the phrase is detected, run the macro. And with a good desktop microphone such as the Logitech USB Desktop Microphone, users can even activate macros by speaking several feet away from the computer--kind of like remote control. Users should be able to toggle the speech recognition on/off if they choose. You can see what Windows 7 Speech Recognition can do on YouTube... http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=windows+speech+recognition Now reimagine it with the powerful macro capabilities of Macro Express!
  4. this issue still drives me bonkers! any idea yet if this can be fixed in the next version?
  5. How about add single hotkey activations with these 10 keys... ` - = [ ] \ , . / tab This will add more single hotkey possibilities. BTW: These are keys on the main keyboard--not keypad.
  6. I use a free mouse gesture program called StrokeIt. It allows mouse gestures to be made for other programs. It is somewhat like Macro Express except it uses mouse gestures and a few mouse click actions to activate custom commands. But there is a bug in which Macro Express [regular and Pro] won't receive a command properly from StrokeIt. A StrokeIt command sent to Macro Express with the wheel_down mouse gesture is misrecognized by Macro Express as the same command used by the wheel_up gesture. The developer of StrokeIt says he has done a lot of testing on this problem and has concluded that this is a recognition bug in Macro Express under 64 bit Windows. Can this be fixed? BTW: I'm currently using: Win7 x64 | Macro Express Pro 4.2.1.1 | StrokeIt Home 0.9.7 ALSO: To perform the wheel_down / wheel_up commands in StrokeIt, you hold down the right mouse button and scroll the wheel down/up. This will run whatever commands you have customized to that gesture.
  7. i just upgraded to 4.2.1.1 but still have the same problem with the "macro enable" commands being unreliable when enabling many macros at once. i have a macro that uses many "macro enable" commands sequentially to toggle enable/disable many macros at once. and because of the bug, i currently still have to triplicate the "macro enable" commands in the macro to make them work reliably. consequently, this means my macro will run 3x slower when using it to enable. can this be fixed in the next version? btw: i've tried duplicating instead of triplicating, but triplicating is more reliable--which should point out how bad the bug is.
  8. Enable/disable macros changes modify date? Is this normal or a bug?
  9. go into macro edit mode. at the top left next to macro nickname, click icon to change it. now your at select an icon window.
  10. BUG: "Select an icon" window is limited to only displaying 3 rows of icons, even if maximized. Can this be fixed so that more rows of icons are shown as the window is resized wider?
  11. curious: i have previously submitted a feature request for a macro command to disable/enable a whole category of macros. so that a category can be disable/enable instead of each macro one by one. if such a feature is implemented, do you think it will workaround this slowness problem? or do you think it will still be as slow unless this bug is fixed?
  12. i finally tested turning off clipboard hook and rebooted, and it stopped the copy problems. so the bug is related to that function. any luck on fixing it yet?
  13. btw: having an option for the random number generator to not repeat the previous X numbers in a row is also good for simulating behaviours such as a lottery draw.
  14. Also, the macro disable command works much faster than macro enable command. I noticed this when running a macro that enable/disable multiple macros at once. Can the macro enable command be improved to be faster?
  15. i have been testing this clipboard copy problem for a long time now. whenever this happens, i "terminate macro express editor and player" and restart it. then the clipboard copy problems go away for awhile. can this be fixed? btw: i didn't disable the clipboard hook option due to me using the other method i just mentioned. im now on 4.1.7.1
  16. i fixed this by uninstall / reinstall. but curious if there was another quick way to fix it?
  17. Export / import program configuration doesn't save toolbar layout for Script Editor. It uses default. Can this be fixed? Tested with 4.1.6.1 on Win7 x64. BTW: I noticed this when I did an uninstall / reinstall of the program. Even after importing my custom program configuration, it uses the default toolbar layout instead of my preferred layout.
  18. Sometimes when I try to exit the Script Editor by clicking the windows close button, the Script Editor freezes with a "not responding" error. When I get the "not responding" error, I force quit the Script Editor. But afterwards, the Script Editor interface is missing the top menu and toolbar--can this be fixed? BTW: I'm on 4.2.1.1 on Win7 x64. Screenshot...
