  1. John, Thank you so much! That is exactly what I needed. The IF Window worked perfectly. Thanks again!
  2. Hi John, Thanks for your response. I am creating a macro to import pictures into Filemaker. Filemaker has nearly 50k records. A script was created and set as a button to import the picture. So, the macro basically clicks that button, it browses the directory where the pictures are located and copy the destination and clicks ok, then it moves to the next record and loops again. However, some records, there are no pictures, so an error screen will pop up when that is the case. I would like it to pause so I can cancel out of that error screen and move onto the next record. Hopefully, I'm explaining this clearly. Thanks for any help you or others could provide.
  3. Hi, I am trying to create a macro to copy, paste, import, and move to the next record in our database. There are well over 50k records and it will take a bit of time. Macro Express is a savior. However, there a few records that it will not work with. Is there a way to have macro express pause when there is an error that pops up? Basically, I want it to pause, then i would manually skip that record, and then hopefully click another button to relauch the Macro Express macro. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  4. I am currently running a macro in access. I pull queries and it can take anywhere from 2 seconds to about 10 seconds. I am currently using the delay 10 seconds button. I like to shave off some time as it waits 10 seconds on every query. Is there a function in ME that finishes the macro once it senses that the process is finished. While doing a query, there is a counter that counts anywhere from 500-50000. Is there a way to have the macro run once it senses that the counter stopped or the screen has stopped? TIA!
  5. Thank you for your reply. I have gotten everything to work now. I forgot a very simple step... I forgot to do ctrl u and shift u... That step locked up my computer each time...
  6. I have loads of data and over 150 work sheets. Is it possible to automate the Control-Shift Arrow button? I have 5 columns and about 600-1000 lines on each sheet. I am trying to automate the highlight copy and paste to another place via Macro Express. I tried the Text Type, "CTRLD, SHFTD, Right Arrow" ut it freezes up my system all the time. Is there another way of doing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  7. This is probably an easy one. I just started using macro express to ease my work load. Everything has worked but I can't seem to get it to repeat? Is there a process or a page that explains it more thoroughly? I'm not too tech savvy. I have it run reports on the website and I have it automatically click, delay, pull reports, click again. But, I need to repeat the process 16 times. How do I set the repeat command to make it run from the beginning of the macro again for 16 times straight? Any help is much appreciated. And, this program has definitely saved me a ton of time. Thanks!
