cyberchief
Is there some way to get the current URL of an open web page and send that to a variable? Looking through the macro commands... I can't find one that fits.
kevin
I would get it from the browser's address field. Something like this should work for IE and Firefox: Text Type: <ALT>d<ALT>c You may need a slight delay: Text Type: <ALT>d Delay 100 Milliseconds Text Type: <ALT>c This should put the url into the clipboard. jason
If you are using Internet Explorer, you could try something like this: Get Control %C1% (MSN.com - Microsoft Internet Explorer: Edit) Mouse Single Left Click on Control %C1% Clipboard Copy If you are using another browser, you may have to use a mouse move command to highlight the address in the address bar before copying the information. cyberchief
I got both ways to work. Thanks guys! Oh... Kevin... are you sure it wasn't supposed to be <Ctrl>C? instead of <Alt>C? AltC didn't do anything for me... Tried doing that for about 5 mins. Thanks guys!!!

cyberchief
Come on Kevin... you didn't waste my time. If it wasn't for you... I would be behind on my work by about 30 years!!! If anything... I owe you at LEAST 5 minutes!!!
