Gasman
I've written a macro to swap the wallpaper. It works OK as long as I use a bitmap for the wallpaper. If I activate the Active Desktop and try to use a jpg then the picture doesn't appear. If I open the Desktop Display properties box, however, it shows that the relevant jpg has been selected but I have to deselect it, reselect it and press OK to make it appear on the desktop. I've modified my macro to do this but it seems a bit of a long winded process. Is there an easier way to do this. I've found a couple of registry keys which may be relevant. One shows "Desktop Wallpaper" and is quite readily altered by my original macro. The other shows "Converted Wallpaper" but isn't changed by the original macro, only by the one which replicates a manual wallpaper change. jason
Currently, Active desktop is not supported. If you wish, you can request the feature at our website: http://www.macros.com/requestfeature.htm. If the feature is implemented, you will receive a confirmation email. Gasman
Just after my last post I upgraded to version 3.5e. My macro now works perfectly.
