diarmuid Posted January 22, 2007 Report Share Posted January 22, 2007 hello this is my first time posting on this forum I am trying to use Macro express to open a bunch of files form within a specific progemme and regenerate their contents, (its AutoCAD 2007). I can get the prograame to launch autocad set it current, this is where i get problems, i know the address of each of the files that i need to regenerate. i do not however know how to get macro express to open the file from inside the package (it needs to be open first) and go to a particular directory and open the file then. (this would then be repeated for 48 files every night at 9.00pm when everyone is gone home) any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. kind regards Diarmuid Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jason Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 If you are trying to get Autocad to open the file, then you should be able to get it to load by pressing something like Alt+O using the text type command.
