billywizz Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 hi im really sorry this is my first post and i am asking for help.but i am desparate , I am not very technical so i outsourced a macro to automate my daily tasks ,So a guy in india built me a macro ,So i escrowed him the money on completion .foolish i know now . Any way you guessed it the thing doesnt work, and he want answer any of my email . I dont think there is a lot wrong ive read the forums and tried to work through the manual ,but i cant do it, it post to the wrong sections.all the txt is there just not in the right place. could one of you experts please take a look ,i dont mind paying you for your time. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You'll need to provide at least 4 things: 1. Copy all the command lines from the Script Editor and paste them into your post in the normal way. (I like to format mine with bold and dark blue, so they stand out.) 2. Click Insert: CODEBOX on the left. Then copy all the code from the Direct Editor (toggled with the button below the green arrows) and paste them into the codebox 3. Explain fully what your macro is supposed to be doing. Include details or examples of any input or output files (edited if they're confidential), web pages, etc. Hopefully this should all be in the job definition you gave to your elusive author in India. 4. Explain fully what your macro is actually doing at present. billywizz Posted January 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 thanks Terry I amazed myself and fixed it ,I think the penny dropped as to how it navigates around a form ,the macro that I had made could never have worked in a million years.the script was there but in completly the wrong postion. i am have one problem thou when it navigates to a secure webpage ,it pops up with website identification thawtes identified site as bla bla bla . I cant seem to stop it. any help It's not really clear what you're trying to accomplish with your macro. If you navigate to the same page manually, do you get the same website identification? If so, how do you manually get past it? Just duplicate your manual actions with Macro Express commands. If not... well you haven't really given us much information to work with.
