Cory Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 My normal procedure with distributed macros is to have a development copy and copy it over the live copy once my changes are made and tested. In the file I have a macro that copies one to the other at the same time as activating and deactivating some macros. IOW a quick push. But this time I would like to somehow protect the dev copy but I don't want to jump thru hoops. I'm thinking I could create a subfolder for it and have different folder permissions. IOW using inheritance instead of having to actually change the file's permissions each time. But I thought I would ask around to see if anyone else had any suggestions on how best to do this. Remember the goal is ot have a simple process, preferably a macro, to do it. Quote
