sprocter
Hi All, First post ever. Trying to use a macro to save an Excel file to a specific directory. I can not count on the directory that the Save As will be pointing to when I open the window as the one I need. I need ME3 to indicate a path after it clicks on File > Save As. It s a dropdown box. So how do I do this? Tabbing? Pixel coordinates? I played with Window Controls and didn't really get that to work. I was hoping there was some macro script command that delt with this situation. Thanks for the help in advance, Skippy
cmharrington
Hi Skippy, In the file name feild, instead of just putting the file name, you can put the entire path. It does not matter what the default path is when you save the file. For example save the file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\text.xlsx"
