4.1.1.1 Sidebar

Recommended Posts

I tried that, but upon re-opening ME, it returned.

notbob,

I have just tried this and what you say is correct. This seems to be since the latest release 4.1.1.1 as I tried it prior to upgrading and the Sidebar *and* the Toolbar remained hidden after restarting MEP. With the latest relaese they both reset to being visible after restarting MEP.

They do remain hidden for the duation of a session though, so more an annoyance than anything else.

If you like, I will submit this as a bug.

Confirmed, it’s a bug!

I’ve tried various combinations and manual registry hacks and it will not go away. I’ll report it.

Happens no matter what.

I normally have them off and I wasn't sure if they got stuck because I set them so I tested another machine. On this one both were disabled then I upgraded and now both are enabled and can not be permanently disabled. Windows 2003 Terminal Server.
