Excel Macro Completion Confirmation

I use macro express to kick off an excel program (excel 2007) that automatically runs a macro. I would like to send an email upon successful completion of the excel macro. My thought was to use a Wait for Window Title command, but I'm having several issues. First, the excel file opens, but the the pop-up box doesn't show - the window just blinks. If I click on the excel-giving it focus, the pop-up box comes up, but macro express still doesn't recognize the pop-up box title. Any ideas would be appreciated.
