terrypin
In Debug mode it's taking from 4 to 7 seconds for the following command to execute. A second or two faster using Run Now from ME Explorer. From C:\ Windows Explorer it is of course virtually immediate. Open Folder to "C:\Test" Nothing else is using significant CPU resource according to XP Task Manager. Before I start looking for something wrong with my PC, could I get some feedback on others' results please? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK
paul
Using either Open Folder or Open Folder in Explorer behaves identically: the folder appears immediately, but the subsequent dialog box I use to indicate the command has finished takes an additional 1.5 seconds or so on my dual core laptop. terrypin
Thanks Paul. Just tried it again and it was much faster opening the folder. So there must have been something substantial going on before, despite XP Pro TM showing no evidence of it, which is now no longer present. The delay between the folder opening and the TBD message appearing remains at about 0.5 secs.
