terrypin
I've spent a couple of days transferring 50 or so macros from Stiletto to ME Pro, so that I can finally retire the former completely and eliminate the remaining occasional conflicts. A few gave me some difficulties. While ME Pro is much easier for creating macros, it's not as versatile as the 12 year old Stiletto. For example, in many Windows applications the File Open and File save windows are inconveniently small. And many cannot be resized manually by dragging a corner. Stiletto has an option which automatically increases the size. I replaced that with a small tool dedicated to that single purpose (FileOpenPatcher from http://www.netcult.ch/elmue/ElmueSoft-en.htm). And so on. But several still remain. One is a handy macro that uses whatever text is in the clipboard as a Google search target. I've become used to the activation I assigned, which was to quickly tap the Shift key twice. So far I haven't found a way to do that in ME Pro. Anyone? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK
acantor
I don't think it's possible to activate a MEP command by "double clicking" a modifier key. But I think you could make it work with an alphanumeric key.
