Phonemes Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Hi, I just bought a notebook, which is going be my main computer in the future, but I may still be using my old desktop as well. I read the following in the MacroExpress eula: Personal License: A single-user ("Personal") License may either be used by a single user who uses the Software personally on one or more computers, or installed on a single computer used by multiple people, but not both. Does this mean that I am entitled to install and use MacroExpress Pro on both computers, as long as they are not running simultaneously? And if so, can I simply install the same key on the new computer? TIA, Arthur Quote
Samrae Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 This is a user-to-user forum. For licensing questions you should contact Insight Software Solutions. Quote
Cory Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 Not exactly. As I read it they can be run simultaneously. However no one else should use MEP on either machine at any time. But contact ISS for the final word. They're very responsive. Quote
Phonemes Posted March 24, 2012 Author Report Posted March 24, 2012 Thank you, guys, I will contact ISS. Quote
Ron Posted June 5, 2019 Report Posted June 5, 2019 What happens when you get a new computer, do you have to buy a new license ? Quote
acantor Posted June 5, 2019 Report Posted June 5, 2019 I don't think so. Download a copy of Macro Express, install it, and when prompted for your license, type or paste it in. Quote
