Lock windows

Recommended Posts

It depends. If your macro uses the GUI then it will fail. Windows essentially freezes all graphical user elements when locked or disconnected in a remote desktop connection. So it's not a shortcoming of MEP but rather the way Windows is. But if your macro does things like file ops then it works fine when locked.

Macros will execute normally with the exception of GUI dependent activation. EG a new window title activation is invalid. But a scheduled macro will work just fine.
