cuppanews Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Hi... Is it possible to turn off the animated menus in the Scripting Editor? The "dropdown" effect is giving me motion-sickness. If it isn't, could this be added in some future version? Thanks! Quote
cuppanews Posted July 24, 2005 Author Report Posted July 24, 2005 When I click on, say, the "Macros" menu in the Scripting Editor toolbar, the menu "slides" down into view rather than simply being displayed. It's fun the first time. ;-) I thought it might be an OS thing (although it does't happen in other applications). Sure enough, in Desktop > Appearance > Effects, the first item seems to apply here -- but changing it doesn't have any effect in this case. Quote
joe Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Yep, you are correct. The menus do slide no matter which preference I have chosen and regardless of how I have my desktop features set. Very interesting. Quote
kevin Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 You are correct. There is not a setting to enable or disable this feature. We will add the ability to select the animation in a future release of Macro Express. Quote
