terrypin
It appears that sub-macros still get processed even if they've been disabled. Is that a bug or by design? So, for example, if the macro Just a Message has been disabled in ME Pro Explorer, the following one-line macro still runs it (i.e. still displays its message). acantor
Hi Terry, I tried to replicate the problem, but couldn't. When I disabled the line that calls the sub macro, MEP ignores it.

Samrae
Disabling a macro prevents it running via activations such as a hotkey, shortkey, window activation, etc. It does not prevent running via a Macro Run command.
terrypin
Thanks Samrae, yes, but my question was whether that's a bug or by design? Intuitively I'd have expected that disabling it would, well, disable it, period! --Terry, East Grinstead, UK
Cory
I ran into this years ago and remember starting or being a part of a thread on this very topic. You might want to search for it and see what was revealed there.
