terrypin
Macros with a name containing a colon, such as Word: whatever, do not allow the use of Export > Export as Playable... (No Save As browse dialog appears.) Perhaps there are other invalid characters too. No great hardship, of course. Once you know: simply change the colon to say a '-'. --Terry, East Grinstead, UK
Samrae
Have you tried Macro Express Pro v 4.5.0.1? According to the Revision History: 40. When exporting to a playable macro characters in the Macro Nickname that are not allowed as part of a filename are removed from the default filename. terrypin
Thanks Samrae. I got news of the update on my iPad while on holiday and then forgot to install it on my return a couple of days ago! And I now also remember that this fix is in response to a bug I reported a year ago, after posting this: http://pgmacros.invisionzone.com/topic/5213-export-playable-macro-fails --Terry, East Grinstead, UK
