I would like to have a small window or display that would show how much time is left before the macro repeats the process or itself, kind of a clock showing the remaining time. EvR Posted April 12, 2006 Report Share Posted April 12, 2006 I wanted to create a countdown also, so I searched the message board and found this topic. Since I couldn't find anything else, I decided I'd poke around and see what I could develop. I've attached a file with 2 macros. One (Countdown) performs the actual countdown. The other (test countdown macro) shows how to call Countdown from another macro. There is one problem: The user can cancel out of the countdown by pressing the cancel button. However, the user cannot execute immediately by pressing OK. I don't know of a way around this. So, the macro does provide a countdown and does allow a cancel, but does not have a "do it now" option.
