holden05
Hello! I need to know if this is possible.. I want a macro to accept a keystroke (doesnt have to be words, just any assigned key, for example F5), so I could use this as an argument....basically, to stop the macro if F5 is received within a set amount of time. Any ideas? help greatly appreciated.
kevin
I cannot think of a way to do this with Macro Express 3. However, this will be possible using features we are planning to add to a future version of Macro Express.
tatrader
If you are willing to stop MacroExpress itself in order to stop the macro: ctrl+Alt+shift+V
jason
Pressing Cntrl+Alt+Shift+V will not stop the macro. Macro Express will currently only allow 1 macro to run. The second macro will be ignored.
lemming
Did you want a dead stop ? If so, there is the Abort Macro hotkey which by default is Scroll lock + Pause. If you want the macro to interrupt what it is currently doing, and do something else, that would be harder. Hello! holden05
Thanks for your replies. lemming: I'd prefer an interrupt instead of a dead stop, but I stick to scroll+pause for now.
