Thanks for the help, found an answer in the following:-
"Run gpedit.msc, and go to Local Computer Policy->User
Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows
Components->Attachment Manager and enable "Default risk level for file
attachments", and then enable "Inclusion list for low risk file types"
and add to this list the file extensions that you want to open without
triggering this crap."

Several Macros which run automatically are not running since I installed XP SP2. They all contain Visual Foxpro Programs and when the macro tries to run that element of the macro, a security window comes up saying "Do you want to open this file?" The publisher of the PRG is shown as an unknown and the window requires a click on Open or Cancel to progress.
I have tried entering text type left arrow, enter in the macro but no good.
I have gone through all the security settings on the pc but cannot find anything which makes any difference.
HELP!!
Thanks

I have created a Macro in ME which emails an attachment. I want this to run unattended but I cannot stop the E-Mail Notifcation window coming up at the end of the Macro waiting for an OK.
It works fine until you add an attachment and then the macro cannot be saved without it checking the box "Send e-mail notification"
How can I get around this?
Thanks

Is this still a problem??
I am using version 3.5.2.1 on XP and I cannot get any scheduled macros to work in the mornings!!
( I don't like mornings either)
If I enter 21 in the scheduler, it changes it to 9 and the macro runs at 9pm. If I enter 9, the macro still only runs at 9pm
Thanks

Hi
I am getting an intermittent error when using a simple scheduled macro to email an attachment.
The dial up connection is made OK, but then I get either:-
Error 421: timeout exceeded
or
Connection closed gracefully
or most often
Email send error: Socket Error # 10060
Connection timed out
The attachment is only 17k
Thanks
David

I cannot send mails from ME to external addresses. I have set the SMTP server to the server of my company, copies to internal addresses are fine, but CCs to external addresses give the error "Exception: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for XXXXXXXX
This used to work until my company changed Mailserver.
