It seems like everytime I make more than 40 macros which are running throughout the early morning hours, IE at some point becomes non-responsive (a white, blank screen) and I have to restart everything, losing my macros for that day. Any advice/ideas? Thanks, jm

Click on Options | Preferences in the Macro Explorer and select Network from the options on the left and then uncheck the option File Locking of Macro Files. This should hopefully resolve the issue.
Thankyou so much, that did the trick! I appreciate your time. -JM

How does it not work? Can you open the macro, but not edit or add commands, or can you not open the macro at all from the Macro Explorer? Also, does it show any messages when you try to open the macro?
Sorry, more information would certainly help clarify what is going on. I finish my macros using ctrl shift alt x and get 'capture of schedule macro is complete'. when I right click on the macro I have just made again & choose edit with scripting editor I get 'cannot edit macro because the file is locked by another user'. thanks again -jm

I have found that I am unable to edit my macros with the scripting editor unless I close macroexpress down, then reopen it. When I reopen it and click on my macro, then I am able to edit it. Does anyone have any idea how I can edit without this extra step? Thanks! -jm

You could create a macro that contains a Macro Run command for each macro. When your scheduled macros fail to run you can run this macro to run them.
That could work, but my macos change frequently - thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate your time. -jm

The internet went down and all of my scheduled macros obviously did not run. I have numerous macros in each file. Is there a way to manually enter all of my macros within a file without clicking on each one & choosing 'run macro now?' -jm

I recently purchased macroexpress and am trying to figure out how to most efficiently enter contests, etc. using it. I feel silly because from the posts I've read most everyone is using it for professional purposes. Is there anyone who could help me become more knowledgeable about using it for sweepstakes? I have created a few macros, but am at a plateau and would appreciate any help. Thanks! -jm
Critical number of macros?

They are not linked together, but are each separate macros which are individually scheduled at different times. They all run between 1-5 am, so I don't know if one of them is causing a problem. I have had this happen before and it has only happened when I have more than 40 macros that run within that timeframe. I have all of them minimize after running so I can pull them back up to check them. Perhaps I should close the macros I know work perfectly everytime. I guess you can only have a certain number of windows open at one time on IE. I hadn't actually thought about that until know. I guess I was wondering it Macroexpress only allows you to create a certain number of macros. -jm
