I am thinking mabye it has to do with the securities settings in ie7??? site settings, that sounds like a possible situation, as It only happens on like 1/2 of my installations, and I never thought of that... and we are opening up a https session...

but I use ie7 on xp all the time and never this problems....

Another use above has the exact same problems where a 2nd window pops up and neverending connecting is displayed and the blue bar makes it look like it actually is trying to go somewhere but never actually does.

I just ran a couple of tests on Vista Ultimate on two different machines and could not replicate your complaint. So it's not inherent with Vista, it has to be environmental. Something is different on those machines.

 

Are the websites secure? I know IE7 will open a separate window when in a different zone. For instance if you have a web page open that’s in the trusted sites list and open a page that is in the “Internet Zone” it will open to another page. Maybe one of the pages is a redirect.

 

Give me the web address and let me try it on my machine.

 

Does logmein work from a web portal?

Im having a problem on a customers computer and im lost at where to start...

When I first installed these scripts on this guys computer all worked fine, then like a few weeks later this odd problem started happening it is xp and ie7

When macro express imports data from the clipboard and pastes it into the web into a form in ie7 it pastes exactly perfect

when the macro grabs the data from a .csv file and pastes it (about 10 variables) each one has the case changed the $ symbol for us dollars becomes 4 so its like someone is pressing the caps key for thes the first caracter of each variable, its odd...

The exact same script without modification works everywhere else but not on this guys computer, I even reinstalled the script again from scratch. verified the csv file looking at in in notepad... why is the first caracter of t1 t2 t3 variables changing... etc..

I do support for others via remote management with www.logmein.com

When you open a webpage normally in vista with IE7 and click on the IE icon it opens up only 1 page as it shoud and goes to your default page in IE.

When you have ME current release open a website it opens 2 pages one blank that constantly says connecting and the other that goes where you want to go.

I have notices this on EVERY vista system my customers have installed ME on, It has to be a default setting somepleace in vista.

I dont recall about tabbed browsing or not, whatever ie is set up by default to do. which is tabbed browsing

Here is a new problem, lately macroexpress sometimes shows up in the task bar and sometimes does not, its still running in the background as I can press a hotkey and it will run a preprogrammed script, but when I click on the icon on the desktop it does not open it seems to be already running but no icon in task bar and no maro express for me to edit. Also when hitting a hotkey it responds normally and runs the macro and there is no running man in the system tray to indicate that it is running.

Please help...

Im having a problem with vista/macro express when I use the command to open a website 2 pages open up open at the same time one first a blank page then the requested page, the blank page always is connecting and never does anything, this is very annoying...

Any Ideas?

then after pasting some text in there find the continue button and press enter...

How would I find these locations without using a mouse coordinate or tabbing into the fields?

I have a spreadsheet that has name address and phone number information

I wanted to be able to have excel closed and run a macro that would access that file and pull a row or column out to paste into the text file I am working on, ie different name and addresses depending on who I am writing a letter for ie hit f1 and it pulle data from address.xls column 1 row 1,2,3,4,5 and pastes it in the text file I am currently working on...

Can you compile a completed macro so you can distribute it to a friend or do they also have to buy macro express?

Is there a way to load a page and once its loaded goto the "add" button and left mouse click it or enter it...

The key word here is find the button as I can issues a mouse move then a click command but it would be better to be able to find the text or button and click on it...

Also if not a button is there a way to find and click on a text hyperlink on a web page?

I have tried to put wait for page to load any way I can and cannot seem to get script to process correctly..

ie current version for xp home

I want to wait till page is fully loaded before continuing and it just hangs there, explorer says its loaded no hour glass etc and says done at bottom but script dose not keep going...

Any ideas???

The Text File Process command puts each line into a single variable (eg %T1%). The ASCII Text File Process command puts each record on a line into a separate variable (%T1% through %T5%).

The process seems to imply that it will imput each line into a variable...

"What To Process

If you want to process all the records that follow after the specified starting record, then choose "Process All Records". If you only want to process a certain range of records (or lines of text), then choose the "Process Partial Records". With this option checked, you will be able to enter the number of records you wish to process."

This is right out of the help button for the command for "textfile begin process"

I racked my brain for hours....

Is this a feature that was forgotten....??

I am trying to import a file created in windows notepad a pure text file...

I have one data set on each line and I wanted to assign them to variables t1 to t50

When I load Text File Begin Process filename etc... the only variable that loads seems to be T1 and that with the last line in the .txt file...

I have been able to assign several T variables by reloading the Text file begin process several times and the end one selecting a single line each time...

I thought there was a better way?

Can Anyone help?
