  1. Hi,

     

    You can use the Text Type command to press Alt + D. Alt + D is the IE shortcut to place the cursor in the URL field. It also highlights the URL. You would still need to copy it to the clipboard.

     

    If your current macro only works about half the time, most likely it is a timing issue. Make sure you allow adequate time for windows to open, etc. before doing keystrokes.

  2. I want to grab the URL address of the current Internet Explorer tab. I've written a macro that uses drop down menus to categorize and name favorites. It goes to the Windows Explorer Favorites folder and writes a webpage shortcut. This requires that I grab the URL of the page I'm trying to save. I've attempted this is various ways without complete success. Surely it can't be that hard? Currently, I've set it up to refresh the page, <Tab>, and clipboard copy. This works about half the time. Thanks for any advice you can give.
