  1. Hi there,

I want to disable and enable (not activate!) my screensaver.

Disabling is very simple cause ME has the option in system-->screensaver-->Screensaver disable

But I want also to enable it again, I tried with system-->control panel open-->Run control panel applet-->Name: display properties-->tab: screensaver

Followed by a bunch of move mouse commands all relative to window (located with the mouse locator) and left mouse clicks.

But when I run the macro it only opens the display properties window and nothing else happens...

I tried to capture the macro but also no luck.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

  2. Hi there,

    I've a question about a macro:

Is it possible to delete backup files? (I'll explain it ;))

With MozBackup I create a backup of my Firefox and Thunderbird profiles everyday.

    They get the name: Firefox 1.0 (en-US) - 2.23.2005.pcv and Thunderbird 1.0 (en) - 2.23.2005.pcv

As you can see in the filename the date (so tomorrow it will be 2.24.2005.pcv) is present, is it possible to let ME delete those files after I made new backups?

I already have a macro which makes the backups.

    Grtz

  3. I'm at work right now, so no access to the help file

hmmm sounds good! Maybe one problem less with firefox then! ;)

As soon as I get home, I'll look into it and let you know the outcome.

edit: Linda, I think your idea worked!

Without the Reset command I didn't get what I want after running a macro twice (every second time I got something different although the mouse was clicking the exact same coordinants!), with the reset command I do get what I want again and again and again! :)

Well, one problem solved ---> one to go! ;)

edit: well, my last problem with firefox seems to be solved! A few "wait time to elapse" commands did the trick!

  4. AFAIK netscape and Mozilla (Firefox and Suite) are using the same engine.

But indeed some mouseclicks and movements aren't handled very well.

I'll make a request for better support/compatibility with Firefox, IMHO Firefox is way better than IE.

the Wait for Web Page command can be replaced with a wait a few seconds (mostly 2 or 3) command :P

  5. really? hmmm........

I'm using Win XP Pro with SP2.

I have a macro which opens a newsprograms (Newsleecher) and update my subscribed groups.

I choose "daily" in the schedule options.

"play macro indefinitely" is marked and the date at "start on" is set to 8/14/2004

I've entered a time and marked the "selected days"

    I switched back to HH:mm:ss and I can't get any hours >12.......

Using hh:mm:ss wouldn't be a problem but it is kind of strange......

p.s. I installed the trial version at work today (XP pro with SP1) and also the same problem with HH:mm:ss......

Are you also using the latest version? (3.5b build1 3.5.2.1)

  6. well I can't choose a number higher than 12...... <_<

I will try to set the systemclock to hh (forcing to use AM/PM) maybe that does the trick.

edit: well, it does work when I set the systemclock to hh:mm:ss!

I now have the AM and PM! :)

I'll report this to insight, maybe they can fix this in a next release :)
