okok but what should i use for activation? That is my big problem this should go automatic with no keystroke i just want to klick on a link and the next link and so on without switching every time back to my mail programm thats all

lol its really simple how do i show this in macro express what should i use as Activation? and how must i do this?

MAybe you can help me - it should be easy but i do not know how. Its really simple. Lets say i get a mail with 10 links inside. So i click on one link and this link opens in IE. After that i have to switch to my mail - click the next link - IE window opens - switch back to mail .......... and so on. Any chance to create a macro that do this: If MAilprogramm is maximized (normally it stays in Tray) and click on link and IE opens Activate mailprogramm or just If i click on link in MAilprogramm and IE opens Activate mailprogramm please help i know someone will say why not use ALT+Tab to switch but 1. i am lefthand so i have my mouse in this hand and please try to press alt+tab with the right hand :-))) and it should be automated. thanks

Thanks but i think this will not really help me. What i want is a macro who works in every webpage i open Again what i do is this Open a page click on a link A window opens with named "Download" Than the macro starts the macro only clicks on "Save" in the window thats all than the next popup window opens where i can save the file ("save as") mouse cursor jumps to the OK Button and now all i have to do is click on it and the file was saved in my folder. thats all But now i just want the mouse curser to jump from the place where it was at last ( the last click was on the "OK" Button) to the last position of the page where i clicked at the link to save. So the macro has to remember the last position where the cursor was when clicking on the link

Hi i created a macro which should help me to download nearly automatic some files looks like this This macro really works fine and i have no problem with it. Only thing i want to change is this normally i click on a download link and than tha macro does his job but after that the mouse cursor is on the position where the last button to click was . Now i think there must be any chance to place the cursor on the last link i clicked on the webpage and not at the last positon he was the macro just have to remember not the last click it must remember the click befor or 3 clicks befor any chance to do this?

Thanks Yes it was the "control" thing. I changed all controls to no activation and use now the multible choice menu for those . Its not so good as the control feature but my system is running fast now and there are just one or two keystrokes more i have to press i can live with this thanks

Need a popup at windows (XP) start. After Macro Express starts it should pop a window where i can insert a own (not the system) password. If i cancel or insert the wrong password the system must shut down. any chance? oh. It would be nice if it also can create a log file where i can see when there was a login with wrong passwords.

Can i do this? If yes .............how? Quite simple - I just want to click on a link in IE and this link should not open in the same window - it should open in a new Window! so normally i use the right mouse button and klick on "open in a new Window" But i want to open all links in a new window - so how can i set up a new macro which only acts and works in ie when i click on a link without using a shortcut.

Thanks but NO this could not be the problem. If i change the macro library to an other everything works fine. Also i have the running icon in the task so i can see if a macro is running - but there is no icon. I tried it again this day and it must be something with the "control" i set up all my macros and system (most IE (Netcaptor)) iss slow. Than i just delete 6 macros with "control" activation and its running real fast. So it must be somithg wrong with my control activations - maybe Macro express must work hard to have a look if the control fits the macro?????

I have a big problem. It comes with 3.x . I have now nearly 80 macros in my list and my system is really slow. First i did not know that the problem comes with Macro express but i really reinstalled my system completely new and at the moment i installed macro express it happens. Than i tried to change the macro file from mymacro folder to the normal standard macro folder (macex.mex or sample.mex) and all worked fine. I changed it again to my own macro and all slows down. Now i deleted nearly 10 not so necessary macros and than it runs fast again. But i could not find any mistakes in these macros. Only thing i can say (but i am not sure) is that i also deleted 2 macros with a "control" activation. Both "Control" macros are setting up for IE. But they both run in an other macro folder with nothing else in it. Any idea what i can test to find out? Or what i can change?

how can i do this I have a text file from a server log and just want to delete all lines where my own ip was included (for better view) by example I want to do this with a macro 1.copy the log file to a new file (server.log --------> view.txt) 2.than delete all lines where 127.0.0.1 is at the beginning of each line 3.open that file for me to see thats all I know how to copy and open but i do not know how to delete those lines please help

I hove a little problem and hope i can expalin it in the right way What i want to do is copying a differnet numbers of textlines into a authoring programm. i can do it for a fixed number of lines but not for as many as i just want. its all in one programm looks like this mouse move on a 1.position and button click (to activate the textprogramm) than mouse move on 2. position and button click (to activate the text) insert the text and close the box than again mouse move on a 1.position and button click (to activate the textprogramm) than mouse move on 3. position (near under the 2. pos.) and button click (to activate the text) insert the text and close the box and so on its for a menu in a movie now for getting it for different series i can either create a macro for every group (3 series / 4 series / 5 series ....) or set this all in a variable must look like this mouse move on a 1.position and button click (to activate the textprogramm) than mouse move on 2. position and button click (to activate the text) insert the text and close the box than again mouse move on a 1.position and button click (to activate the textprogramm) than look where the scond position was and move the mouse 20 (or so) points down than mouse move on a 1.position and button click (to activate the textprogramm) than look where the third position was and move the mouse 20 (or so) points down or look where the scond position was and move the mouse 40 (or so) points down you know what i mean?

Just simple (but not for me) I just want to get a message box if a file changes his date. it is a simple log file from a ftpserver running at home and i just want to be informed if someone accesses this server so best way is just a popup if the date (time) of the file changes can you help?
