Thanks ist good that it will run just on the taskbar, but I would like it to automatically exit (the program to exit not just the macro) when the macro has run and done its job.

start a macro (click on link on desktop) which would run but what happens normally is that Macro express starts up and shows itself on the desktop and stays there when the macro has run. What I would like is for the program to remain minimized or invisible, AND to exit when the macro has finished running.
