I am trying something simple and am missing the key piece. I am trying to allow the user to select the folder to save a notepad file to. I use the Variable Set String with folder prompt to get the path into %Foldername%. When it comes time to save the processed file I have tried the “Open folder in explorer to” & “Change directory/folder to” to no avail. Can you help with what I am missing? Thanks!

Thanks Cory! I have no problem in using it. I was just wondering if it had some effect on how MEP interpreted the variable like the “&” in some other languages. Thanks again!!

I have not been able to find an explanation of why there is a standard of entering the “%” before and after a variable and what effect it has on the macro if it is not used. Can anyone take a stab?
