Do you know any macro programs that moniter directx, or a way to force my game to not run directx?

Hi I am new here but hopefully not a noob. I'm looking for some help in a problem I am having. I am trying to create a macro for a video game I play... All it is is simple mouse movements a few clicks and some keystrokes. Everything goes well during recording but when it comes time to play it doesn't seem to want to run the macro inside the game. I tried running in windowed mode and recording and in fullscreen. When the game is not active the macro runs as if it were clicking and moving where I wanted to.. Does anybody have any insight as to what my problem is. Thanks much, Patrick
