get Control

i'm working in an "almost" unix style relational database...

i say almost because it has the look and feel of windows 5.x- but when MEX only recognizes the main "instance" of this window i'm running...

here's the problem.

I need at least 5 instances of this App running- within this app there are numerous windows i'd like to get control of, or have macros run when made active, or wait for macros to continue to run until made active (wait till command...)

i've managed to "grab", or isolate specfic windows with the "get control"... but:

1: not sure how to use it.

2: not sure what context use it in, or even how to code...

anybody with any ideas?

if you need more info- ask away...
