  1. Hello, I've been fiddling with some macros and love the abilities so far, but I have run in to an issue; it seems you can't grab the active window's relative location if it's not in "positive window space". Allow me to explain: I work in an engineering room where we all have duel monitors. Each person has their own setup and would like the macro to be versitile to each persons' own configuration. That being said, if a user choses to use their right screen as the main window (the one to contain the start menu) the left screen becomes negative X location (in theory it makes sense). What I've run in to is a few of the programs' abilities run out with this complication, such as the active window location. If I try to grab an explorer window that's on my left screen I can't get its X (left) position. All I can grab is the Y. Is there a planned fix/workaround for this or is this something I'm going to have to deal with? Please let me know, I'd appreciate any help. Also, my apologies if this was brought up but I tried a few keywords in the search and did not find anything of use. If you need a visual or more information by all means let me know and I will do by best to supply any pertinent information. Thank you Brad
  2. That seems to work very well. Now, it seems my only problem is that the Macro software can not locate a control in "negative space". Meaning if you have a duel monitor setup with the right window as your main screen, the left widnow is now negative to the x,y of the right monitor. (use mouse lcoator if you want to see what I mean). Is this a known bug, or just a limitation? Brad
  3. Kevin, Is there a way to use Capture Control from a window-relative position? All i see is a screen relative x&y, mouse location or focused control. I have an application that regenerates controls on a start-up basis and thus get control will not work. I also am in an enviornment where we run duel monitors and each person their own configuration. That being said, I'd like to have consistancy when grabbing a control but not have to: a) redefine the controls each start-up or use mouse move/tell user to move mouse just to grab the control. Any further insight would be appreciated. We have 10 seats of this software and are looking to automate some business processes globally but are running in to a few difficulties. Just trying to use the program to its full potential and maybe get a few more licenses if it works without fail. It's either that or grab one control and use TAb between fields, but I see this as problematic and downright slow. Please let me know of either a viable solution or even a work-around if possible. Thanks, Brad
