To debug, I would add this before Step 10 to ensure the value of the variable is what you think it should be: Text Box Display: Test value: [%CLR%] It might be helpful to post your actual script rather than a description of it. You may not need to send F2 to the cell. It may be OK to send Ctrl + C to the focused cell, without the need to edit the cell and select its contents.
