m204prgmr
I've copied a file containing 41 Macros from hospital GH to hospital BH. All of the Nicknames start with GH. Is there a mass way to change the nicknames without haveing to open and edit each one? Thanks, Robert
stan
I'm not aware of a blanket way to change the nickname. I suppose you could write a simple macro to right click on the first macro in the Explorer window, open the Properties window, change the nickname, save, move down to the next macro and repeat the steps until all are changed. rberq
Programmable keyboards are fantastic for predictable keystroke sequences like Stan is suggesting. They are much quicker than writing a macro, for simple sequences. I can't begin to count the hours my ancient mck-142 pro keyboard has saved me for repetitive tasks. One of these days it will die. They are no longer sold. If I could buy a couple of them, I would just store them away as security. I guess there are other programmable keyboards out there, but I can't imagine one much better than what I have.
