bobtaylor
I have created a Type Text macro, activated by a hot key, to enter my Quicken/Quickbooks password when prompted. The macro doesn't work in either program. When I run the macro in Notepad, it types the text just fine. I'm running Windows Vista SP2. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, have you figured out a way around it? Thanks!
kevin
Macro Express interfaces with Windows using the 'Windows Hooks'. Keyloggers also use these hooks. Some programs, to provide additional security, block the hooks to prevent keyloggers grabbing something like a password. Quicken does this. I was afraid it was going to be something like that, but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks again.
