  1. BUG? It seems I can't run a global macro simulataneously with an app specific macro. Only the app specific macro plays. But app specific macros can run simulataneously. I don't use "lock player". Anyone else with this problem?

BTW: Not sure if this matters, but I tested with macros triggered with middle click set to the top left pixel area.

    ALSO: I'm on Win7 x64 and MEP 4.2.1.1

  2. How about add the ability to activate macros using speech recognition? Windows 7 has a built in speech recognition engine [control panel > speech recognition]. Perhaps Macro Express can work with that to make it possible to activate macros with speech? For example, let us write what Macro Express will listen for. When the phrase is detected, run the macro. And with a good desktop microphone such as the Logitech USB Desktop Microphone, users can even activate macros by speaking several feet away from the computer--kind of like remote control. Users should be able to toggle the speech recognition on/off if they choose.

You can see what Windows 7 Speech Recognition can do on YouTube...

Now reimagine it with the powerful macro capabilities of Macro Express!

  3. I use a free mouse gesture program called StrokeIt. It allows mouse gestures to be made for other programs. It is somewhat like Macro Express except it uses mouse gestures and a few mouse click actions to activate custom commands.

But there is a bug in which Macro Express [regular and Pro] won't receive a command properly from StrokeIt. A StrokeIt command sent to Macro Express with the wheel_down mouse gesture is misrecognized by Macro Express as the same command used by the wheel_up gesture. The developer of StrokeIt says he has done a lot of testing on this problem and has concluded that this is a recognition bug in Macro Express under 64 bit Windows. Can this be fixed?

    BTW: I'm currently using: Win7 x64 | Macro Express Pro 4.2.1.1 | StrokeIt Home 0.9.7

ALSO: To perform the wheel_down / wheel_up commands in StrokeIt, you hold down the right mouse button and scroll the wheel down/up. This will run whatever commands you have customized to that gesture.

  4. i just upgraded to 4.2.1.1 but still have the same problem with the "macro enable" commands being unreliable when enabling many macros at once. i have a macro that uses many "macro enable" commands sequentially to toggle enable/disable many macros at once. and because of the bug, i currently still have to triplicate the "macro enable" commands in the macro to make them work reliably. consequently, this means my macro will run 3x slower when using it to enable. can this be fixed in the next version?

btw: i've tried duplicating instead of triplicating, but triplicating is more reliable--which should point out how bad the bug is.

  5. Export / import program configuration doesn't save toolbar layout for Script Editor. It uses default. Can this be fixed? Tested with 4.1.6.1 on Win7 x64.

BTW: I noticed this when I did an uninstall / reinstall of the program. Even after importing my custom program configuration, it uses the default toolbar layout instead of my preferred layout.
