Can the macex.mex file be properly edited with a text editor?

Anyone know if there is a macro command to select paragraph that is under the cursor without actually clicking? Usually it takes 3 clicks in the body of text. But I have a situation where I prefer to do it without clicks. Is there a way?

Macro Express 3 also has the Enable/Disable Category menu option. Select the category and press <Alt>cb. This activates the Category menu and then disables or enables the macros in that category.

but can u make a macro do that?

this is not the same problem as my other post. im curious if other people have the same problem and if there are known solutions.

i tried turning off the compatibility mode but i still have the same problem. is this a bug that needs fixing?

Macro Express 3.7d is unable to work with x64 programs on Windows 7 x64. When I try to add a program scope to the macro, my x64 program doesn't show up on the active programs list. And if I manually type in the .exe name, it still doesn't work. It doesn't have any problems working with x86 programs though--only a problem with x64. Any ideas?

BTW: I have set MacExp.exe to Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode to get my imported settings to show up correctly. If I turn off compatibility mode and restart the program, the settings disappear again. So it seems I need to keep it in compatibility mode.

i also noticed a folder called "MACROE~1" in my "program files" folder instead of the "program files (x86)" folder. not sure if it was before or after i turned on compatibility mode. but inside it is stored 2 files: MacEmail.txt and swpkey.mes ...

Macro Express 3.7d is not working with a program that I put in Windows 7 compatibility mode. I set the compatibility mode setting to Windows XP SP3. I cannot start my macros for it. Is there any way to fix this?

BTW: The program I put in compatibility mode is Maxthon 2.1.5. I'm using Windows 7 x64.

the macro was working great on winxp. but now i upgraded to windows 7 x64 and i get an error message about unable to create the .txt file in C: drive. im admin on the system. any ideas?

I can't import my Macro Express 3.7d configuration settings from WinXP to my new install on Win7 x64! There's no error messages or nags. The configuration settings simply don't change after importing. My custom categories are also missing. Any way to fix this??

Is it possible to make a make to enable / disable a whole category of macros at a time? Instead of each macro individually? Individually is rather slow when dealing with many macros.

do you know if both regular and pro versions get an update to work with window 7?

Is it possible to activate a macro with mousewheel up or mousewheel down?

i did not check box for 'wait for file to finish'. but the audio playback still doesn't overlap

Is it possible to activate a macro with "keypad enter" and/or "backspace" key? If not, can it be added as a feature in the next version? I would very much like to have pressing the "keypad enter" play a custom confirmation sound in one of my programs.

Anyone know how to allow macro audio playback to overlap previous audio? So that if you press an audio macro rapidly, it will overlap the playback--sort of like an echo. Is it possible? If so, how?

there seems to be a problem with the macro. it usually only leaves 4 numbers in the random file. if i execute the macro a lot of times, at some point, a lot of numbers get added--and it continues to add thereafter. im using random numbers beyond 10. it seems to be due to the length of the double digit numbers vs the single digit numbers. the problems starts to happen after a single digit number gets added amongst the double digit numbers. can this be fixed?
