  1. but what happens when i decide to use a lock player command? do i have to follow it up with the unlock player command?
  2. Is inserting the Unlock Player command always necessary after using a Lock Player command? If I don't insert the Unlock Player command, will the macro player still be able to run multiple macros at the same time after the macro is finished playing?
  3. Is there a macro command to disable/enable a whole category of macros? If not, can this be added? It would be more efficient than doing each macro manually.
  4. Is there a way to limit a macro's scope to the Windows 7 taskbar? Example: I have 2 macros that are activated using the middle mouse click... #1 is set to scope "window title: Program Manager". This limits the scope to the desktop. #2 is set to scope "program name: explorer.exe". Back in ME3, this limits the scope to the taskbar. But now in MEPro, it also works on the desktop and also plays when I activate macro #1--which I don't want. I want the scope limited to the taskbar. Is there a way to fix this?
  5. Is there a gray flat skin available? Would prefer it instead of the blue.
  6. are there still any conversion bugs as of 4.1.6.1?
  7. Anyone know if my version 3.x macros work in 4.x if I upgrade? Do I have to manually do anything to make them work?
  8. Anyone know if my version 3.x macros work in 4.x if I upgrade? Do I have to manually do anything to make them work?
  9. Curious, can a function like this be built into Macro Express (to make it easier to work with and change)? How about add an option to set random variables to not repeat the last X generated numbers in a row? Useful for making some random things seem more random. Or when we need to create non consecutive numbers.
  10. Is there a way to activate a macro with either mouse wheel scroll up or down?
  11. I'm on Windows 7 x64. I just upgraded to ME 3.8 [from previously 3.7d] and now a scheduled macro prevents my monitor from going to sleep! The scheduled macro is scheduled to play each time my computer starts. If I disable the macro, my monitor sleeps properly. This problem didn't happen back on ME 3.7d with the same macro. So this is a new bug with ME 3.8. Can this be fixed? BTW: I only tested monitor sleep. Not sure if this also affects computer sleep.
  12. Anyone know if "preferences > file paths" can use environment variables? So instead of having to use this... C:\Users\NAME\Documents\ErrorLog.txt ...can we use this? %USERPROFILE%\Documents\ErrorLog.txt
  13. actually i did import my old settings after installing on windows 7 x64. my preferences show this... C:\PROGRA~1\MACROE~1\MacEmail.txt C:\PROGRA~1\MACROE~1\swpkey.mes should i change it to this... C:\Program Files (x86)\Macro Express3\MacEmail.txt C:\Program Files (x86)\Macro Express3\swpkey.mes also, do you know why the original has the ~1 in the shortened paths?
  14. i installed 3.7d on windows 7 x64 with default settings. i didnt try to change anything. there are just these 2 files in C:\Program Files\MACROE~1 MacEmail.txt swpkey.mes all the other main program files are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Macro Express3 any ideas? should i try uninstalling and reinstalling and see if this still happens?
  15. I have Macro Express 3.7d installed on Windows 7 x64. But I noticed there are both these folders... C:\Program Files\MACROE~1\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Macro Express3\ Is it really necessary to have both these folders or should the data in the MACROE~1 folder actually be in the Macro Express3 folder? Is this a bug?
  16. any link to official release date info for the windows 7 version of Windows Speech Recognition Macros?
  17. Anyone know how to create macros that are activated based on the status of Windows 7 Speech Recognition? Here are the different statuses... BTW: You can start Speech Recognition in the Control Panel.
  18. Anyone know if there is a great macros/automation program like Macro Express but uses voice recognition to trigger the macros? Or is there a plugin for Macro Express that adds voice recognition? BTW: I prefer it to have the ability to add custom sounds to the macros.
  19. Can it be added as a feature in the next version? I would very much like to have pressing the "keypad enter" play a custom confirmation sound in one of my programs. And I would rather have it doable in Macro Express.
  20. Anyone know how to make a macro to play a custom sound when a specific window is closed? In my case, it's Maxthon 2 web browser's download window. The download window's title has no static words and is always changing dependent on what's downloading and the window's .exe name is shared with maxthon.exe Is this doable?
  21. Anyone know what I need to do to set scope to desktop on Windows 7? "Explorer.exe" used to work on XP but not on 7. Any ideas? BTW: I'm on Windows 7 x64.
