Daik
Is there a way to cause a macro to run every time a given program, document or window is closed? Thanks for any information. Daik
Cory
No that I know of but it’s an interesting problem. You could have a macro launch when it sees the window title and then Wait for Program to Terminate indefinitely would cause it to continue. IOW instead of launching the macro when the program terminates have it launch when the program starts and pause until it’s closed. The downside would be that you wouldn’t be able to run any other macros while that program is active. If you do need to run other macros let me know as I have some other ideas for you using scheduled macros.
Daik
Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I have to run macros while my application is open. I guess I'll create a macro that closes the app first and then performs the other tasks I need to have done.
Cory
Yeah, give the user a macro to close their app. I wonder if one could steal the mouse click on the close button…
