terrypin
I've noticed that sometimes when I start MEP Explorer my external HD is getting activated. This 1TB drive has a longish 'activation' time, and I avoid using it for anything but backups and DVD archives. So I'd prefer it wasn't made ready when I don't need it. Why would the MEP Explorer startup involve this HD? Could it be because one of my 900 or so macros opens a folder on that drive? IOW, does MEP Explorer scan all macros in the active MEX file every time it's loaded, and open all drives referenced? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK
Cory
Perhaps you have MEX files on your MRUD (File > Reopen) that have paths to the external drive? Might try clearing that out and see if it still does it. Just a shot in the dark.

I've removed them in Regedit. -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK
