terrypin
It seems that if a macro has only one command then it cannot be given a background colour. Only spotted it while I was highlighting commands containing a certain text string, and some of these are in macros containing just a single command (usually Program Launch.). Trivial to fix by adding a redundant Comment. Can others reproduce please?
Samrae
Seems to work for me. Note that the Macro Express Script Editor automatically highlights a macro command when it has been entered so the background color is blue. But, if you close the macro and reopen it the background color appears correctly.
terrypin
Thanks, yes, I hadn't tried re-opening. Although before doing so, if you remove focus from the command by clicking elsewhere (outside the main script section), then the command is not highlighted with the assigned colour. acantor
I made a one-line script, coloured the line in yellow, saved the script, closed the script, and reopened the script. The line is yellow.
kunkel321
For me it is also appearing as acantor describes. Cannot "unhighlight" a single line of code, so you can never see the color.
Cory
The problem is that one can't see the color because the line has the cursor. The selected line has the normal highlight which makes the background invisible. Closing and opening like Acantor suggests has the effect of having no line selected. But once you select that line, one can't unselect it. I.E. after clicking anywhere in the main window, there always need to be at least one selected.
